Episode 23:4 BetyLou’s Holistic Approach For Overcoming Candida

Sometimes, the toughest health problems to solve are the ones with “nagging” symptoms.

Symptoms such as…

- Tired all the time.

- Constant digestive problems.

- Achy joints.

- Skin rashes.

- Itching.

- Urinary Tract infections.

If you’re having trouble overcoming ANY of these, it may be because you have an overgrowth of Candida Albicans.

What is Candida Albicans?

You can get the answer by listening to this episode.

You can also get the answers, from BetyLou Pierce, to several other important questions.

Questions such as:

- What would cause Candida Albicans to overgrow and cause health problems?

- Is there a simple test that could be done at home to check for it?

- What’s the best way to treat it?

All of these answers, and more, are available on this episode.

Be sure to listen and then share with a friend.

Thanks!

Here’s a copy of an email I sent out earlier this week. It should answer your question 🙂

James is a patient of mine with a great sense of humor. For that reason I thought he was up to something when he asked me the following question:

“Who is Dee Arco… and why is he poor?”

I told him I had no idea who, or what, he was talking about.

“You know” he responded, “Dee Arco. The poor guy BetyLou talked about on this week’s podcast.”

I still had no idea who or what he was talking about… but then it hit me.

“Oh” I replied. “You’re talking about the herb BetyLou suggested for people who have an overgrowth of Candida Albicans. It’s NOT ‘Poor Dee Arco’…

    It’s Pau D’arco.”

James was surprised by my answer which made me realize he WASN’T trying to be funny… he actually thought there was an herb named after a “poor guy named Dee Arco.”

Because James is such a character, I had to give him a hard time.

However, when I was done ribbing him, I did share with him information about Pau D’arco… how it is the name of several species of trees native to South and Central America’s tropical rainforests.

I then told him that the bark of these Pau D’arco trees has compounds in it that are recognized as having antibacterial and antifungal properties.

These antibacterial and anti-fungal properties work by cutting off the oxygen and energy supply to fungi (such as Candida Albicans) causing them to eventually die.

Once dead, they can no longer affect the body in a negative manner.

“That sounds great” James said. “Where can I get some Pau D’arco as both my wife and I need some?”

I then told him about a local health food store here in Mobile called Virginia’s Health Food Store. I suggested he go there on a Sunday or Wednesday and ask for BetyLou as she would be glad to help him.
